ODESSA, Texas – After concluding the 84th Legislative Session pushing for tax relief, educational resources, transportation funding, and West Texas values, State Representative Brooks Landgraf invites the community to join him for the opening of the new district office.
The grand opening will be Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the office located in the Municipal Plaza at 119 W. 4th Street in downtown Odessa.
"In order to better serve my constituents, I am honored to announce the grand opening of your local West Texas district office," Landgraf stated.
The local District 81 office will operate as the West Texas hub for any assistance relating to state issues for residents of Andrews, Ector, Ward, and Winkler counties.
"Here in West Texas, we’re a long way from the Capitol, so this office will allow me to work for you closer to our home," Landgraf said. "It is a great privilege to serve as your voice in Austin when the Legislature is in session, but it is even better to be back home with you here in the Permian Basin."
The grand opening will provide an opportunity to visit with Representative Brooks Landgraf and enjoy fellowship with friends across the Permian Basin. Refreshments and light food will be served.
"I can serve most effectively when I am able to hear from you," Landgraf said. "It is my goal that with this office I can continue to learn about the issues that affect you daily and come up with responsible solutions."
