ODESSA, Texas -- State Representative Brooks Landgraf and his fellow West Texans warmly welcomed Governor Greg Abbott to the Permian Basin on Wednesday. Governor Abbott and Representative Landgraf spoke to a packed crowd at Rockin’ Q Smokehouse about the overwhelmingly successful 84th Legislative Session and the upcoming Constitutional Amendments Election in November.

"We’re excited to host Governor Greg Abbott here in the Permian Basin,” Landgraf said. “This was a conservative legislative session and the Governor led by example. We are both committed conservatives and I am honored and humbled that he allowed me the opportunity to introduce him.”

Governor Abbott praised Representative Landgraf’s conservative principles and his work in passing successful legislation to address transportation, education, and economic needs of the region as well as to push back against reckless federal regulation.

“Governor Abbott is a true friend to West Texas,” Landgraf said. “I look forward to continuing the fight with him to ensure that Texas remains the best place to live, work, and raise a family.”
